About Me

My name is Marcela Sada (laborboletaartista).

Welcome to a window into the world I see, full of colors and nature. I love plants, birds, and other animals, and that's why you will usually find some of those elements in my work.

I am a Mexican visual artist, and since I was born, I’ve lived and breathed art, music, and nature in my home.

I paint in various techniques and sculpt in wood.

I have a master's degree in Art and Educational Technology, and have been a teacher at Monterrey Tech (ITESM) since 1995.

I am married and have 4 children and 4 grandchildren so far.

My passion is to capture in some way what I feel, smell, and see.

When I paint, I am passionate about seeing how colors merge, and that awakens creativity within me.
