I like and am very attracted to nature and painting the beauty in it. When I was little, I used to go out to the countryside a lot next to my house. Everything I saw brought me and I enjoyed immensely the various colors of the trees, of the plants, of their shapes and texture, of the clouds and their hues, of the variety of animals that I found in the grass or climbing the trees, or the sounds of the birds with their colors and movement. as well as the freshness of the air.
I've always been drawn to color, so when I saw bright colors such as tender green, reddish-brown or yellow leaves with their very marked veins, I would gather them to draw or paint them with my colored pencils or chalk. Butterflies with their symphony of colors have always caught me and made me feel that I move with them and that I flow with the air. The hummingbirds, with their symphony of colors, are a spectacle, as well as watching them form their nests, take care of their young and teach them to fly.
The small animals that walk among the plants like the beetles are something so spectacular that I was prompted to reproduce them in wood to have a little bit of them with me.
The smells of flowers awaken in me images and feelings of gratitude so deep that I need to somehow catch them and crystallize those feelings and images into a painting.
I am attracted to painting the beauty that surrounds me because I easily connect with nature and I feel that it is so much a part of me, that I need to bring its essence and create it or capture it in some way, that is why you will always find some element of them in my works. My mission, which I enjoy very much, is always to carry the message of protection, care and admiration for Nature and to capture in some way all that beauty and diversity that surrounds us.
